Exploring key insights from MWC Barcelona 2024

Event overview

Join Digital Catapult and Women in Telecoms & Technology (WiTT) for an evening of post-MWC insights and networking on Monday 18 March. This is an in-person event which will be held at Digital Catapult’s office in central London, as well as being live streamed globally.

MWC Barcelona (formerly known as Mobile World Congress) is, according to the GSMA, “the largest and most influential event for the connectivity ecosystem. Whether you’re a global mobile operator, device manufacturer, technology provider, vendor, content owner, or are simply interested in the future of tech, you need to be here.” Last year’s show saw more than 88,500 attendees from 202 countries/territories.

For the past 12 years, WiTT has hosted a post-MWC event to provide news and views from the show for those of us who weren’t able to make it to Barcelona. Hot off the press from MWC Barcelona 2024, Digital Catapult is delighted to be partnering with WiTT to bring you content-rich discussions around the key trends and most talked about topics from this year’s show.

Topics to be addressed by our panel will include:

  • 5G and beyond
  • Our Digital DNA
  • How mobile technologies will impact industries such as manufacturing and fintech

If you’re attending in person, you will have the chance to make new connections by networking informally with fellow attendees over a drink both before and after the main presentation. There is also the opportunity to take a tour of Digital Catapult’s SONIC Labs. Guided by our expert technologists through our state-of-the-art facility, you will gain insights into the latest cutting-edge global R&D developments in the open networking ecosystem.

Who should attend

This inclusive event is designed for anyone interested in trends in mobile tech and how new developments might be applied to a range of vertical industry sectors.

We welcome all guests with varying levels of technical knowledge from across the telecoms sector, as well as those from other industries that increasingly rely on mobile technologies, including manufacturing, fintech, sports & entertainment and smart mobility.

Please note that as space is limited, we would advise early registration if you are planning to join us in person.
